Consumerism
Today we viewed a video in our Social Studies class called “Consumerism”. The video was an animated story about people buying phones over and over again. The main message I got from this video was that we should all stop buying so much stuff because we are wasting money and destroying the planet.

film study
In English we have been learning film study, you can use different types of camera shots in film studies as well. There's a lot of strategies in film studies like dialogue, props and music. The dialogue is a speech at the start of the play to inform us about the performance ..Props are the items held or used by actors onstage to make the action more realistic. The music is used to create suspense and inform us what is about to happen in the scene. All of these make your performance more interesting. Our next step in film studies is identifying different themes.

Title what Do you think about Art
In Te Ngahere we have been doing art. We have been doing art for so long. I’m still on my practice sheet because it is so hard. You start off with a practice sheet to get good a outline. Then you blend the colours on the picture. After you have practised on the practise sheet you go on to your real copy. The real copy is the same except the picture is bigger. It makes it even easier to do the outline, even blending is easy because the shapes are bigger.
Do you like doing art?

Mind Blowing Facts About Our T-Ball
This term in Te Ngahere we have been learning how to play T-Ball. The rules to T Ball are.when you hit the ball you have to run even if you are already on a base. When there are no more chances to get anybody out, the back stop shouts ball in and they get ready for the next batsman. Every time somebody makes it to home base then the batting team get one home run. After everyone on the batting team has a go at batting they switch over. When we played we batted first and got 7 points and when it was our teams time to field I was the backstop. To get someone out when you are backstop either catch their hit or put the ball on homebase before the base 3 runner gets there. In the end my team won, the score was 14 to us and 12 to the other team. I really enjoyed the game because it was fun to play. Have you ever played T Ball before?
