Title what Do you think about Art

In Te Ngahere we have been doing art. We have been doing art for so long. I’m still on my practice sheet because it is so hard. You start off with a practice sheet to get good a outline. Then you blend the colours on the picture. After you have practised on the practise sheet you go on to your real copy. The real copy is the same except the picture is bigger. It makes it even easier to do the outline, even blending is easy because the shapes are bigger.

Mind Blowing Facts About Our T-Ball

This term in Te Ngahere we have been learning how to play T-Ball. The rules to T Ball are.when you hit the ball you have to run even if you are already on a base. When there are no more chances to get anybody out, the back stop shouts ball in and they get ready for the next batsman. Every time somebody makes it to home base then the batting team get one home run. After everyone on the batting team has a go at batting they switch over. When we played we batted first and got 7 points and when it was our teams time to field I was the backstop. To get someone out when you are backstop either catch their hit  or  put the ball on homebase before the base 3 runner gets there. In the end my team won, the score was 14 to us and 12 to the other team. I really enjoyed the game because it was fun to play. Have you ever played T Ball before?

T-Shaped

This term in Te Ngahere we have been doing lots of T-Shaped. This T-Shaped was about looking at a picture and thinking of what was happening and what might happen next. I found it quite hard because we have to look for an adverb, they usually start end with a ly. It helped us to  start looking at mood and atmosphere in stories.

Have you ever done T-Shaped in your class?

Maths

Kia ora, in Te Ngahere we have been doing maths with our teacher Whaea Ronnie. We learnt measurement by counting all the paper hands inside the hula hoop. The hands could touch but not overlap. We also counted teddy bears inside the hula hoop. It is hard to put the teddy bears inside the hula hoop because they cannot touch the  hula hoop.  Do you like maths?

P.E

Hi, in Te Ngahere we have been doing P.E. We were playing Universal Ball and  we had lots of fun. We played turbo touch, basketball, soccer and netball. My favorite game is Turbo touch when we play Universal ball. We got into two different lines and those were our teams. We had to run around the basketball hoops then get to the middle. When we got to the middle Whaea Shanna threw in a certain ball, that ball that Whaea Shanna threw in was the sport we played. Have you played  Universal Ball  before?

Cross Country Practice

Kia ora, in Te Ngahere we have been practicing for cross-country. We did some warm ups, and the teachers played some music while we were running around the goal posts. I ran 17 times, it was so hard because people were beating me every time and it’s not easy when you run for so long. For a cool down we walked to the goal  post and come back to the classroom.
